In the service of science.

HafenCity University Hamburg's focus on architecture, urban planning and the development of metropolitan areas in Europe make it unique. The spectacular architecture of the university consists of two building elements as well as a large glass foyer in the entrance areas. Beautiful from afar: the façade facing the water is dark, and the façade facing the city is brighter.

The university building was designed by architects from Code Unique and completed in 2014. The integrated complete system reliably offers the right solution for research, lectures and science.

The 230 V smoke extraction solution with DIN EN 12101-10 approval ensures a high level of safety for the 2500 students at the university. This task is achieved by the smoke and heat exhaust system, which has a built-in complete emergency power supply system.
