The Ministry for Urban Development and the Environment practices what it preaches: As the first part of Hamburg's city government, it straddles the Elbe and brings colour to the centre of the district of Wilhelmsburg. The building combines transparency, openness and energy efficiency, setting a new standard for state-of-the-art administrative buildings, energy efficiency and climate friendliness.
