NSHEV Louvres at work: Southway and Charter

Project
D+H UK installed life-saving smoke ventilation systems as part of the impressive regeneration of 12 high-rise blocks in Eccles, Manchester. The high rise improvement programme was to deliver a cost effective, energy efficient solution for the future.

System
This EN-Certified smoke louvre system provides a more effective smoke ventilation solution whilst also meeting the demands for a successful natural ventilation solution, especially at high level.

Products
A total of 64 double glazed louvre vents tested in accordance with EN 12101-2, were installed to provide dual-purpose natural and smoke ventilation. Stainless steel crossbars ensure safety from falling from height.
