CDP series: stylish high-performance drive

If you're looking for a way to visually harmonise high architectural expectations with SHEV drives for heavy NSHEV roof windows, then our high-performance CDP chain drive won't disappoint. With an exceptionally powerful gearbox and rugged chain, the drive can handle a load of up to 1500 N with a 1000 mm stroke. And with a current consumption of just 4 A, the CDP also scores highly on efficiency. Designed for power – the CDP Series combines one-of-a-kind performance, elegant design and low power consumption. With its symmetrical design, the CDP chain drive for SHEV blends perfectly into any refined modern architecture and offers the ideal solution for architectonic SHEV applications. If a single drive with 1500 N force of pressure is insufficient, up to four drives with proven BSY+ technology can be installed to open a roof window with synchronised power and positioning.

The CDP series at work: RheinEnergie AG
The newly built RheinEnergie AG management headquarters is among the most state-of-the-art office buildings in Cologne. The D+H smoke extraction solution for this building did not come straight off the shelf. There were no profile systems that were compatible with the new drives. This necessitated the production of a customised product.
The large supply air windows, which are used to quickly and reliably extract smoke from the building's large atrium in the event of a fire, posed another challenge. The atrium also functions as a gathering place, so it is subject to onerous fire protection requirements.
