Redundant safety + reduced cable effort

The innovative Advanced Communication Ring Bus (ACR) solution significantly reduces cabling effort and thus also lowers installation costs in the long term. At the same time, redundant control of the SHEV operation panels ensures increased safety.

The continuous communication loop between the SHEV operation panels and the smoke and heat exhaust ventilation control system opens up a new dimension in functional safety, as the system remains fully functional even in the event of a cable fault. Up to 30 addressable SHEV operation panels can be integrated and assigned to the respective fire compartments via software. The ring bus technology also allows flexible retrofitting options in the event of structural or expert changes – a solution that saves time and money.

For maximum flexibility, the ring bus can also be divided into two separate line buses if required.

With ACR Plus, the amount of cabling required is significantly reduced: smoke detectors and ventilation buttons can be connected directly to the SHEV operation panel, eliminating the need for separate wiring to the control panel. Up to 28 addressable, parallel-connected smoke detectors can be integrated per fire compartment, clearly identified and read out with software support.

The RT 46 impresses with its elegant high-gloss plastic housing in the iconic D+H design and a removable door that provides quick access to the internal components. This ensures generous cable space and makes installation and maintenance much easier.

ACR compatibility enables easy integration into automated control systems, reduces cable routes and minimises installation effort. At the same time, digital communication with fire compartments ensures precise fault detection and rapid rectification.

In conjunction with ACB satellites, cable runs can be reduced even further and the functionality of the system optimised.

The RT 46 therefore not only offers ease of installation, but also future-proof efficiency and safety – all at an excellent price-performance ratio.

TMD extension module

The digital trigger module (TMD), which was developed specifically for our CPS-M smoke and heat control unit, now makes it possible to use just one digital module instead of several individual analogue modules to control different buttons.
This groundbreaking innovation not only leads to significant savings in terms of cabling and installation costs, but also greatly increases the safety and flexibility of our systems.
