The clever drive technology in the LDx provides more than safety and security – it also maximises comfort, because its operating noise is barely audible. The most recent design with the Fail-Safe function ensures that in case of fire, the complete louvre can be either opened or closed once, even if the entire building is affected by a power cut.
Bracket with folding function – large opening angles for side-hung vent windows
When the wind is blowing, pressure and suction forces necessitate a powerful drive solution. Ideally, only chain drives without a side bow chain are considered for this. A straight drive chain has a higher rigidity and therefore has no trouble opening, closing or holding side-hung vent windows, even under substantially higher wind loads. The combination of the new, exceptionally quiet CDC drive with a side-hung vent bracket featuring a folding function enables exceptionally large opening angles of up to 60° – even without a side bow chain.
