CDC series: integration in perfection

Incredibly quiet and virtually invisible

You'll probably miss it, unless you look closely and listen very carefully: The universal CDC chain drive for installation can be integrated into the profile or surface-mounted and is so compact that it is virtually hidden once installed. Ingenious mechanical decoupling means the chain drive runs extremely quietly. This makes the CDC ideal for visually refined and functionally adept façade solutions for smoke extraction and natural ventilation. The CDC provides pure convenience and optimum flexibility. It is suitable for multiple window and façade solutions and for all standard window profiles. Thanks to its intelligent powerful motor electronics, the CDC can be programmed individually using the D+H SCS software. Configure the drive functions, performance features, stroke lengths, opening widths and speeds for opening and closing separately entirely according to your requirements and applications. This makes the drive a secure and customised solution that complies with the highest standards of architects, specialist planners and fabricators, all while being incredibly quiet and virtually invisible.

  • State-of-the-art ACB technology: individual programming and control of drives and groups using just one bus line

  • Quick + easy installation thanks to optimum coordination of the bracket sets

  • Reduced noise emissions: especially quiet operating noise

Versatile installation solutions for a range of window profiles

The CDC is the most flexible solution for all façade windows in cases where ventilation and smoke extraction drives are to be out of sight. Thanks to the profile-related bracket sets consisting of a frame bracket and sash bracket, the CDC is fast and easy to install in nearly every window – without additional work to adjust the fitting. It is inconspicuously concealed in the window profile, where it functions entirely unseen, moving bottom-hung, side-hung and parallel projecting windows. For natural ventilation with the highest standards for design and function. And if need be, the sleek CDC can also easily be surface-mounted.

Sample window opened by CDC drive at a 90 degree angle

In combination with the professional SHEV and ventilation drive of the CDC series featuring an 800 mm stroke, this D+H solution provides sideways window opening without a chain detracting from the view. A pneumatic spring ensures safe operation for inward- or outward-opening side-hung vents.

ACB technology

The CDC drive series features the D+H communication technology ACB. Especially during major projects, building operators are often faced with the question, "Do all the installed system components also work for smoke extraction and natural ventilation? And if not, where in the network does the problem lie?" ACB allows the drives to communicate with the controllers and gives them feedback about opening widths and statuses. But this is just one major advantage of the innovative bus technology. It also significantly reduces wiring effort, which in turn saves installation effort and costs, and makes it possible to control drives with millimetre precision.
