Skylight drive system SDS 2 has been designed according to the new valid European guideline EN 12101-2 for natural smoke and heat vent equipment. Even large aperture angles can be realized for particularly effective ventilation thanks to an integrated infinitely variable ventilation function. Low current consumption of the drive unit results in considerable cost savings for power supply and lines in comparsion to systems with higher current consumption.
fire resistance: 30 min. / 300 °C; functional safety: min. 10.000 double strokes with rated load (ventilating position 60°) and 1.000 opening cycles in smoke and heat vent-position; no additional drive required for ventilation function; power transmission structurally optimized and by this, minimum strain on ventilator frame and hinges; high protective system of drive unit, therefore usable under difficult ambience conditions as well; quick mounting and easy handling through factory preassembled structural components; suitable for retrofitting, mountable from roof; reduced maintenance costs by life span lubrication; possibility of realizing complete electric smoke and heat vent systems in conjunction with VdS approved D+H components; a listing of the applicable skylight types is available on request;
